I'm just a girl from Texas who likes things bigger and better! Take me out for mexican food and you have made a friend for life. I love romantic comedies, Sonic Cokes (no diet for me), anything to do with a spa, spending time with my family and girl's night out!
I have been blogging for over 5 years and since then have taught myself html and css and have taken a class on web design, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I started Sweet Cheeky Designs in August 2008 and began by designing my friends blogs. Friends started telling friends and so on and so on. Now, I get customers from all over and am very pleased with the business so far. Designing is something that I have found that I love and will spend hours on the computer until I am more than happy with a design. I will never give you a design that I am not proud of!
I am a mommy to two beautiful and sweet kids and a wife to an incredibly smart and funny guy. I love to laugh and try not to take things too seriously. Our world was rocked when our son, Riley was diagnosed with Autism at age 2. We have stared uncomfortable in the face but picked ourselves up and are doing everything in our power to help him communicate with us and be a part of our world. I believe that God hand-picked me to be Riley's mom and I am strong enough and proud enough to handle it.
After living in Texas my whole life, we moved to Northwest Arkansas in October 2008. I happen to think that Northwest Arkansas has the best schools in the world! (I still miss my Texas, though!) I plan to go back to work full time (hopefully as a graphic designer!) and hang up my stay at home mom hat that I wore for almost 9 years next fall. I will absolutely keep designing blogs and even adding websites to my design services. Anything else you want to know? Ask me! I love to talk about myself. Don't we all?
